Happy Chinese New Year vs Valentine Day

As we all know, Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Guess what is just around the corner too? Chinese New Year. Believe it or not, it falls on the same day.

I would like to extend my warmest wishes to one of the nicest friend I have, Lilian Lim.

I hope one day, we can hang out together again, Yen.

SKY BRIDGE not the LONDON BRIDGE

After attended the interview, I was waiting Syed at the KLCC and decide to visit the sky bridge at the KLCC. The story is;

After I got the tickets, we're invited to the 3D auditorium. Polaroid spectacles will be loaned to us. Here we are will learn all about the construction and concept of Petronas Twin Towers. We're very excited and fun about the 3D spectacles =)





After finished watching the 3D short movie, we're go to the security check before being allowed to board the flight to the Petronas Skybridge. Once there the Petronas in-house guide will give us a briefing. Then we're stay there is for 10 whole minutes. If the wind is strong during your visit you will be able to experience the sway of tall buildings. But, this not happened during we're visit.




We was standing at 170m and connecting two levels which is level 41 and 42 of both towers.The unique double-deck sky bridge stands 170 metres above street level with its arch support forming a symbolic gateway to the city centre.





After visited, we're went to SURIA KLCC to had a lunch. =) Maybe one day, we'll go to visit London Bridge, I wish =)

Engagement Alin & Iwan

Congrats to Alin and Iwan. I was proudly as the ring slipped in Alin finger as she got herself engaged to the man she loved.




Look at the handsome one, Iwan. He is very lucky to have Nadlene.




Now she's engaged.




She was glowing with happiness and looking as beautiful as ever.







To Alin, orang tua-tua cakap after bertunang banyak dugaan. Moga semakin tabah dan sabar menghadapi liku-liku cabaran sebelum hari perkahwinan nanti.

Flashback again. We were both young when first I saw you =)You keep me going what I look forward to, you are my world and you will never possibly know how much I love you. Because every single day, I fall in a deeper love for you it will only continue to grow.

Struggling with Performance Management

It's not unusual to have trouble adjusting to lecturer life, or to have problems come up along the way. I need struggle with performance management subject. Urggghhh.... I need to do more research before I give lecture. During undergraduate and postgraduate, I did not take performance management subject because my background is HRD! not HRM!

So, now, I always refer the resource person and search the performance website. I need to study performance management for everyday. Everyday likely I want to take the final exam.

The following duties and responsibilities are intended to give a broad indication of the variety tasks that a lecturer may be asked to undertake;

1. To contribute to teaching, assessment, development and review for the undergraduate students.

2. To give lectures as required and contribute to the general research life and activities of the university.

3. To undertake an agreed amount of Thesis supervision in consultation with the Thesis Co-ordinator

4. To undertake administrative and other duties as appropriate and consultation.

But teacher, responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

1. Supervise up keep of all educational equipment and materials in assigned area.

2. Maintain progress records of each child's growth and development.

3. Work with parents to promote understanding of their child's growth and development.

4. Encourage parent participation in school programs.

I love teaching. But I am still confuse whether I want to be a lecturer or teacher. I like to teach childs but I love lecturer's salary more!

Memories

I find myself here on my bed. When the sun goes down, the stars blink and the moon brighten up the night. Waiting for you, yearning your voice in my ear. Suddenly, i was remind back our sweet memories at the Pavillion year 2008. I feel my heart beat faster, the closer you get to me. For your soft touch on my skin, my heart pounds a wild beat. I turn and as our eyes meet. Only one thought remains in my mind, love Syed Afizzuddin.
